In a shocking turn of events, less than 24 hours after his death, his father, Joseph Aloba, proceeded with an immediate burial in Ikorodu, Lagos State. Omowunmi disclosed that she had no prior knowledge of the burial plans and only discovered the devastating news online.

The revelation has stirred further controversy, as Omowunmi shares that her father-in-law had been insistent on burying Mohbad without consulting her or informing the family. “I got to know online the day they wanted to bury him,” she said, expressing her profound shock and pain at the lack of communication from those closest to her late husband.
