Nigeria’s leading music publication, TurnTable Charts, has announced the winners of its 2024 Awards, celebrating the top artists, songs, albums, and industry personalities in Nigerian music. Among the big winners is Mavin Global President Tega Oghenejobo, who has been named Executive of the Year following his exceptional leadership at Mavin Records.

Under Oghenejobo’s direction, Mavin Records has seen remarkable growth and success. In 2024, the label’s stars, Rema and Ayra Starr, released highly successful albums. Rema’s Heis and Ayra Starr’s The Year I Turned 21 both made it onto Pulse Nigeria’s Top 10 Albums of 2024, further solidifying the label’s dominance in the industry.

Mavin’s marketing team also took home a prestigious award at the TurnTable 2024 Awards, winning Creative Direction in Music for their work on Ayra Starr’s The Year I Turned 21 campaign.

In addition, Ayra Starr herself received the Best Live Performance award for her groundbreaking tour with the multi-Grammy-winning group Coldplay in 2024. This recognition marks another milestone in her rapidly rising career.
