Kizz Daniel Tells Vaddicts: ‘No More Money Requests, Let’s Just Vibe’

Afrobeats star Kizz Daniel had a candid moment with his fans, the Vaddicts, on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his frustration over constant money requests. The “Buga” hitmaker took to the platform to address a growing issue: fans turning every interaction into a plea for financial help.

Kizz Daniel, whose real name is Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, made it clear that he prefers to handle acts of kindness privately, not in the public eye. He shared that he would no longer entertain requests for money from fans, emphasizing that if he’s meant to bless someone, it will happen quietly, not as a public spectacle.

In his post, he wrote, “Vaddicts make una stop all this money thing each time I’m online … shey we no fit just vibe ni?! … Even if God wan use me bless person, it will be in private not public. Not anymore ….”

While many fans appreciated his message, some continued to ask for money, with one even sharing bank details in hopes of receiving support. This showed just how deeply ingrained the expectation of financial aid is among some fans, and how challenging it can be for artists like Kizz Daniel to redefine their relationship with their followers.
