Jude Okoye Granted N100M Bail Ahead of Money Laundering Trial
Jude Okoye, the former manager of the defunct music group P-Square, has been granted N100 million bail ahead of his trial for alleged money laundering charges involving N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59. The decision was made on Monday, March 3, 2025, following his arraignment before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Okoye was remanded in Ikoyi prison on Friday before being granted bail with two sureties, each required to provide N100 million worth of landed properties in Lagos. The court also imposed a travel restriction, barring him from leaving the country without prior approval.
