‘I pray we start to raise women that demand for the respect they deserve’ – Simi

Superstar singer, Simi has lamented over the abuses women have been continuously subjected to.

The singer who noted that it is heartbreaking to see and hear what some women go through every day added that it is so bad because these women think they deserve to go through such because they are “women”.

Simi further stated that “I pray we start to raise women that demand for the respect they deserve and never settle for a life that continuously diminishes them”.

She tweeted;

The kind of shit I see/hear many women go through everyday could break your heart. It’s so bad that many women even think they deserve the suffering, BECAUSE they’re women. I mean “why else should I suffer this much if I don’t deserve it.” My heart man
