I feel 101% fulfilled to be a solo artist- Ice K

Ice K was a guest on the award-winning WetinDey show on Max 102.3 fm today June 6, 2018. The singer is a former member of the defunct musical group “Artquake”. The group which consisted of ADX and Ice K whose real names are Adegbite Adeniran and Tomomewo Olakunle emerged into the music scene in Nigeria in the late 90s. The duo were known for their hit song “Alanta”.
The duo met in the higher institution and kicked off their musical career as partners together for eighteen years before they finally split up.
The singer was asked how he feels to be a solo artist and he said
“In the five months of being alone I feel 101% fulfilled and now I can do somethings on my own such as making decisions without any consultation. And this gives me and my former partner ADX an opportunity for the world to know us better.”
I misses my partner in the area of administration for instance; when things come up my partner takes care of them but now i do them himself.
The singer who recently released his new hit single titled “4G Wireless” featuring slim Case and Dollarsyno said
He got his name “Ice K” in school.
He disclosed that he had a problem solving constant in mathematics and he used to go for rap competitions and he was a vanilla ice fan, people then nicknamed him Ice and he added the problem he had in math which was finding K to the equation and that was how the name “Ice K” came about.
The “4G Wireless” crooner decided to jump on a freestyle titled “ELOMI” inspired by a young breed Artiste known as Tsalt, this freestyle reaffirms ICE-K’s versatility as an Artiste. He revealed that he has four artist under his record label ICEMPIRE.
He was asked that if he had the power to change anything in the music industry, what would that be
He said,
“I will create a censor body to listen to songs before they are released.”
He revealed that his next track featuring Ducan Mighty will be released in July .
