Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed plans for his white wedding with Chioma. The couple will tie the knot in Miami, USA, this August.
Davido Confirms White Wedding with Chioma in Miami
“I’m doing my white wedding in Miami in August,” he said. “Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye. A lot has happened, apart from losing our child.”
The announcement comes 10 months after their traditional wedding held at Eko Hotels, Lagos, in June 2024. That event was attended by top celebrities and high-profile guests.
Davido also reflected on their journey as a couple. He spoke about the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
Despite the challenges, he praised Chioma’s loyalty and strength. He noted that she never used their relationship for attention or fame.
“She has never used our relationship for clout,” Davido added. “She’s been solid through everything.”
The upcoming white wedding is expected to be a grand affair. It will likely attract global celebrities, fans, and media attention to Miami.
