Nigerian Singers Dammy Krane and Jaywon Clash on Social Media Over Davido’s Support
A social media feud between Nigerian singers Dammy Krane and Jaywon Juwonlo over their support for music superstar Davido has erupted, sparking heated debate online. The drama unfolded after Jaywon posted a controversial comment on X (formerly Twitter), referencing an old interview where Davido had spoken out about Nigeria’s troubled economy.

In his post, Jaywon questioned the critics of Davido’s comments, saying: “A few months ago, when Davido spoke about the state of the country in an interview, some people quickly came together to call him out as if he was lying. Abeg, where are those people today? The reality is clear that Nigerians are their own biggest problem.”
Dammy Krane quickly fired back, accusing Davido and his family of contributing to Nigeria’s problems. In a sharp comment under Jaywon’s post, Dammy Krane wrote: “FLOPIDO & his family are part of NIGERIA’s problem. Dem sef dey in power & na dem de distribute power.”
But the tensions didn’t stop there. Jaywon soon launched another attack, this time targeting Wizkid’s fanbase, also known as FC (Wizkid FC), accusing them of interfering in issues that don’t concern them. He posted: “Just because say you dey suffer no mean say everybody dey suffer. 97% of FCs are empty heads. Because even things wey no concern dem Dem go put mouth!!”
Dammy Krane responded once again, taunting Jaywon with the phrase, “Jay-lost na you no wan comot FLOPIDO’s gbolahan from your mouth. I own you, Jay Jay.”
The feud took a more personal turn when Jaywon retaliated, writing: “You Dey curse me like say I owe your papa money. Every little thing, your career this, your career that, and your father had none.”
As the online clash heated up, many social media users criticized Dammy Krane for involving himself in a matter that didn’t directly concern him, with some calling him out for stirring the pot unnecessarily.
The ongoing battle between the two artists has divided fans, and the incident has quickly gained traction across Nigerian social media platforms. As tensions continue to rise, the war of words between Dammy Krane and Jaywon seems far from over.
