Cardi B Wins $1.2M in Defamation Lawsuit Against Tasha K

Famous American rapper Belcalis Almánzar, better known as Cardi B, has successfully secured a $1.2 million repayment plan from media personality Tasha K following their long-running defamation legal battle. According to Rolling Stone, a judge finalized the repayment details on February 24, outlining a structured plan for Tasha K to pay Cardi B a portion of the $4 million defamation judgment. This payment will be made in monthly installments over the next five years.

While the $1.2 million repayment plan covers a significant portion of the judgment, Cardi B retains the right to pursue the outstanding balance after the five-year period. The judgment follows a 2022 lawsuit where Cardi B sued Tasha K, a YouTube personality, for making false and damaging claims about the rapper. The allegations, which included accusations of drug use, prostitution, and health issues, were deemed defamatory by the court.

In addition to the repayment plan, Tasha K has agreed to cease making “derogatory, disparaging, or defamatory” comments about Cardi B or her family. This stipulation extends to all platforms, including podcasts and social media accounts. However, the agreement does not prevent Cardi B from commenting on Tasha K or responding publicly.
