The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas has weighed in on the messy breakup between Tonto Dikeh and her ex Prince Kpokpogiri, stating that the body will no longer just sit back and watch its members get ridiculed in public just for online clicks.
He made this known via his Instagram page with a post tagged “Actors be careful with dating”
He wrote, “Events of the last few days have shown that Actresses are now marked for blackmail especially hinging it on the basis of a relationship gone awry. But should it be a reason for publishing private conversations without the consent of the other party? We shall use this one to set an example to serve as a deterrent to all other persons including bloggers presently profiling actresses for blackmail to have a rethink.”
He continued, “We will no longer fold our hands and watch our members taken to public ridicule via invasion of privacy. We are also looking into cases where our certified members have taken to social media to call fellow member out or make statements that can bring disrepute to our Guild or cause disharmony among members.”
This is however coming after a conversation between Tonto Dikeh and her ex was leaked online, and in the now viral audio you could hear the actress pleading for the relationship to work.
