Everybody sure knows about former lovers Rihanna and Chris Brown’s rough and tumultuous history together back in 2009. So when the R&B artist gave the 30-year-old RiRi a birthday shoutout on Instagram, fans were divided between shipping the old couple back together to questioning whether Chris forgot about that particular domestic violence incident.
In 2012, however, the couple briefly rekindled their romance, but broke up shortly after. Some saw it as a sign to forgive Chris the same way Rihanna did, but others believed that the “Loyal” singer doesn’t deserve a second chance.
The music star took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, to wish Rihanna a happy birthday where he posted a baby photo of the Barbados born singer with a caption “HAPPY BIRTHDAY @badgalriri.”
Even though these guys are no longer together, Chris Brown over the last few months has continued to show that he still has a thing for Rihanna.
