Nicki Minaj And Her Ex, Safaree Fight Dirty On Twitter

American rapper and singer, Nicki Minaj and her ex boyfriend, Safaree Lloyd Samuels were recently engaged in a series of tweet battle where they exposed each other and all their relationship challenges. The ex-couple did not name each other in their tweets, but they appear to have targeted each other as they responded back and forth to one another in all the tweets shared yesterday, August 14, 2018.
The 35 year old songwriter and her ex, 37 year old Jamaican-American rapper and TV personality began their relationship in 2000, but called it quits in 2014. Their squabble found its way to twitter after Nicki Minaj in a recent radio interview, spilled a lot of details about what had happened in their relationship.
This spurred Safaree to go to Twitter and accuse Nicki of violence towards him. His most serious allegation was that Minaj assaulted him during a disagreement; to which he tweeted:
“Remember the night you cut me and i almost died the police and ambulance had to take me out the crib on a stretcher and I had to lie and tell them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn’t take you to jail. When things like that start happening more Than once it’s time to dip”.
Nicki Minaj wasn’t having any of it, so she in turn accused him of stealing her credit card and taking money from her account. She said:
“U stole my card & told me you thought it was an account with “free money” that I didn’t know about. On God. God will strike you down & more for lying. Ha! Stop saying u packed & left ! On Jesus u came to my house CRYING BEGGING to go w|me to Europe to the EMA’s. I said NO DUMMY”
Safaree, who once supported Minaj as a hype man, has constantly told whoever cares to listen that he made Nicki who she is and he even writes her lyrics. But Nicki said this was never the case. She said everyone in the industry knows she writes her lyrics by herself. She also said Safaree used to tell her she was never going to make it as a rapper. Then when she proved him wrong and succeeded, he began living off her and refused to work. He even began using her money to pay prostitutes, Nicki alleged. See the tweet exchange below:
