Laide Bakare Blasts Eniola Badmus, Says “I Made You!”
The drama exploded online after Laide Bakare took to Instagram to drag her former colleague, accusing Eniola Badmus of betrayal and ungratefulness. According to Bakare, she was the one who gave Eniola her first major acting role — back when others allegedly wouldn’t work with her due to her looks.
In a shocking post, Bakare didn’t hold back:
“@eniola_badmus I gave you your first major role when no one wanted to associate with you because of your ugly looks and obesity. I spent my own hard-earned money on an ingrate like you. And now, you call me an animal? God will judge you!”
Ouch!
This all comes just days after a heated scene went down at the star-studded premiere of Owambe Thieves on April 13, 2025, at Filmhouse Circle Mall, Jakande. Sources at the event say Badmus looked visibly upset when Bakare appeared on the dance floor. Things escalated when she reportedly told onlookers in Yoruba: “Don’t film us together, we’re not friends.”
Now, fans are taking sides, social media is buzzing, and Nollywood lovers are wondering: What really went wrong between these two?
