Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has revealed that he turned down a “life-changing” sum of money in the lead-up to the 2023 presidential elections, which was offered to him in exchange for campaigning against Labour Party candidate Peter Obi.
The rapper made this claim while addressing critics who accused him of being entitled for requesting Peter Obi’s support in promoting his album ‘The Machine Is Coming.’ Odumodublvck defended his request, saying that asking Obi to promote his album was a reasonable request, considering the sacrifices he made for the former Anambra State governor.
On his X (formerly Twitter) handle, he wrote: “Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen to campaign against Peter Obi but I turned it down. Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask as I am not the one to seek favours. I sacrificed my life for this man. No wam. The Machine Is Coming.”
Odumodublvck’s statement has sparked conversation across social media, with fans and critics alike reacting to his claims of loyalty to Peter Obi and the huge financial offer he turned down.
