Samklef Shares Insights on Davido’s Ongoing Disrespect

Music producer Samklef has shared his thoughts on why Davido often seems to receive disrespect, despite his well-known kindness. This conversation was sparked by skit maker Nasty Blaq, who lamented how the DMW boss continues to be disrespected, even with his good heart.

The situation escalated when content creator Korty took to social media to criticize Davido for preventing her from posting their interview. In light of this, Samklef offered his perspective on the underlying reasons for the disrespect Davido encounters.

He drew a comparison between Davido and another popular artist, Olamide. Samklef pointed out that both have helped many people in the industry. However, he noted a key difference: while Olamide tends to give without expecting anything in return, Davido often appears to seek control or validation from those he helps.

Samklef argued that Davido needs to change his approach. He stated, “Olamide has helped a lot of people, but why aren’t people disrespecting him? Davido brings this on himself! This happens when you’re always trying to look good in everyone’s eyes. You help based on expectation and control.” He concluded by expressing his support for Davido but urged him to stop viewing himself as a victim in these situations.
