Falz’s Sister Vows to Fight Back Against Verydarkman

On Wednesday, authorities gave social media personality Verydarkman 24 hours to retract his statements about Falz and his father, Femi Falana. However, Verydarkman insisted that he did not defame anyone.

Folakemi Falana, an entertainment lawyer and sister of rapper Falz, has entered the fray over the ongoing dispute. In the early hours of September 27, 2024, she took to Instagram to respond to Verydarkman’s series of controversial statements.

On September 24, 2024, Verydarkman claimed that Falz and his father helped Bobrisky evade money laundering charges from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). In her post, Folakemi emphasized her family’s dedication to justice and integrity amid the accusations.

She stated, “My parents and our firm, Falana & Falana, have been applying for presidential pardons for Nigerians for free long before many of you were born.” It’s disappointing that some Nigerians struggle to read or think critically.”

Folakemi felt frustrated by how quickly people believed Verydarkman’s accusations, including bribery claims and suggestions that Falz was with Bobrisky. “Shockingly, VDM can make such wild claims, and people forget who my family is,” she said.

She concluded with a warning: “Since you refuse to do the right thing, @verydarkblackman, see you in court.”
