Big Brother Nigeria: The Parrot Adds a Fresh Twist to the Show

Season 9 of Big Brother Nigeria (BBN) began on July 28, 2024, featuring 28 housemates who entered in 14 pairs. The show will run until October 6, 2024.

This season’s twist involved contestants entering as pairs, but by the fifth week, the show had evicted six pairs: Tami, Ndi Nne, Flourish, Streeze, Zinwe, and Radicals.

Big Brother introduced an unexpected twist at the end of the fifth week by separating the remaining 16 housemates from their pairs. As the show progressed into the eighth week, the producers evicted two more housemates: Ben and Chizoba.

With only two weeks remaining, the competition is intensifying. Viewers closely follow their favourite contestants: Victoria, Sooj, Topher, Shaun, Kelly Rae, Kassia, Nelly, Anita, Wanni, Handi, Onyeka, Ocee, Ozee, and Tjay. The dynamics in the house are constantly shifting, with new alliances forming and friendships breaking apart.

This season also introduced a new element, “the parrot,” which has significantly added a fresh layer of excitement and challenge to the game. Moreover, this twist has shifted the dynamics within the house, creating even more unpredictable scenarios.
