He had taken Emmanuel to Tanzania in 2006, where they worked on three notable films: ‘Cross My Sin’, ‘She Is My Sister’, and ‘The Director’. They have not disclosed the cause of Emmanuel France’s death.

Ogedengbe’s tribute read: “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France. I took him to Tanzania in 2006, and we made three movies together. R.I.P.”
