Wizkid

Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun on July 16, 1990, is known for his music. He began recording at 11 and gained fame with ‘Holla at Your Boy’ in 2009.

After leaving Empire Mates Entertainment, he launched ‘Star Boy Entertainment’. He signed with RCA Records in 2017, releasing ‘Sounds from the Other Side’.

His 2020 album ‘Made In Lagos’ topped the Billboard World Album Chart. His fifth album, ‘More Love Less Ego’, came out on November 11, 2022.

Wizkid’s mother passed away on August 18, 2023, He will release ‘Morayo’ on October 1, 2024.

Burna Boy

Born July 2, 1991, Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian artist from Port Harcourt.

His debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ (2013) was a hit. After leaving Aristokrat Records in 2014, he founded Spaceship Entertainment. His 2021 album ‘Twice As Tall won the Best Global Music Album Grammy.

Burna Boy has had an on-and-off relationship with Stefflon Don and continues to receive major awards.

Davido

David Adeleke, born on November 21, 1992, and performs as Davido, has become a prominent Nigerian artist with hits like ‘Dami Duro.’

He signed with Sony Music in 2016 and founded Davido Music Worldwide. His 2016 EP ‘Son of Mercy’ and singles like ‘If’ and ‘Fall’ were hits. He received Grammy and NAACP Image Award nominations in 2024.

Davido’s son Ifeanyi passed away in November 2022, and he married his longtime girlfriend in June 2024.

Rema

Divine Ikubor, born May 1, 2000, as Rema, is a Nigerian singer who gained fame with ‘Dumebi’ in 2019.

His 2022 single ‘Calm Down,’ featuring Selena Gomez, achieved major success. Rema’s debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ (2022) and EP ‘Ravage’ (2023) were successful. His next album, ‘Heis’ (2024), features the single ‘Benin Boys’.
