Controversy Strikes Again: Portable Slaps Pastor for Preaching in Front of His Bar

Nigerian singer Portable is caught in another scandal after an alarming incident on September 9, 2024. While streaming live on Instagram from his bar in Sango, Ogun State, Portable confronted and slapped a pastor who was preaching nearby.

During the livestream, Portable noticed the evangelist delivering a sermon in front of his establishment. He became enraged, approached the preacher, and slapped him on camera. Portable accused the pastor of disrupting his business and disturbing his customers.

“Why are you doing this? Are you crazy? Why are you coming to disgrace me in my bar? Fuck you, bro,” Portable raged before the slap. He further complained, “This is how they spoil my business. Early on a Monday, you’re ruining my day. I had prayed for myself before leaving home,” as he chased the preacher away.

The incident quickly drew criticism on social media. Many users condemned Portable’s actions, calling them excessive and unwarranted. Some even demanded legal action for the assault.

One Instagram user wrote, “Completely unnecessary. The pastor was already leaving. Why slap him? Portable needs to rethink his approach.”
