The ‘Hello’ singer, who has been living in the United States for the past two years, revealed her plan to return to England once her residency expires in November.
She informed her fans not to anticipate any new music from her, expressing her desire for a significant hiatus.
“I have no plans for new music right now. Adele told German broadcaster ZDF that she wants to take a substantial break and is interested in exploring other creative pursuits for a while.
In January 2024, Adele hinted at her break when discussing an opportunity to perform in Germany: “I couldn’t imagine a more delightful way to spend my summer and conclude this wonderful phase of my life and career with concerts closer to home during such an exciting season.”
The 16-time Grammy winner’s most recent album, ’30,’ released in 2021, earned her the British Album of the Year award at the 2022 Brit Awards.
