Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. known as Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, recently responded to accusations from his mother about neglect spanning more than a decade.
Addressing the issue, he emphasized his positive character and clarified the situation. Shatta Wale’s mother recently took to social media seeking help, claiming her son had neglected her for over ten years.
In his defence, Shatta Wale asserted his goodness and highlighted his close relationship with his late stepmother, whom he regarded as akin to his biological mother.
He praised her for taking excellent care of his children, Cherrissa and Majesty, and expressed deep respect and fondness for her kind-hearted nature.
Despite occasional disagreements, Shatta Wale emphasized that his stepmother never voiced complaints about neglect or disrespect, unlike his biological mother.
