Nigerian actor and comedian, Ime Bishop Umoh better known as Okon Lagos has given a condition under which his vote can be bought.
In a video he posted to address vote buying in a sarcastic manner, Okon Lagos he would sell his vote to cover a single term of four years at a daily charge of $1,000.
According to the actor, he would multiply the $1k times the number of days in four years, which is 1460 days.
So, going by the calculation, the price of the comic act’s vote would amount to $1,460,000, with his discounted exchange rate of N500, will come to N730 million.
Okon stressed that he would not be accepting any amount less than this because he knows that once a politician running for political office buys his vote, like they usually do, he would not get anything from him again till the next election cycle.
