Falz and Verydarkman Saga: Rapper Speaks on Allegation

Nigerian rapper Falz has responded to allegations made by social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman, regarding his supposed role in Bobrisky’s jail term.
In a recent interview on the Afrobeat podcast with Adesope, Falz denied the accusations, saying Verydarkman “set up a ring light and said nonsense” about him and his family.
He explained that he couldn’t just ignore the claims, prompting him to take legal action against Verydarkman. “You can’t just sit back and watch someone spread lies about you,” he stated.
Falz also shared that he reached out to music industry veteran Seun Kuti, who may have played a role in the situation. Afterwards, he received a phone call from Verydarkman, but Falz noted that Verydarkman continued to make unfounded claims during the call.
This controversy follows a lawsuit filed by Falz’s sister against Verydarkman for defamatory remarks about their family.
Falz’s response has reignited interest in the situation, with fans and critics keenly awaiting further developments.
