Vee Opens Up: The Real Reason She’s Never Been in Love

Vee, a popular contestant from BBNaija, recently shared her thoughts on love during an interview on the Dear Ife podcast.

She revealed that she has never truly experienced being in love, stating that genuine love requires a level of trust and vulnerability that she hasn’t achieved yet.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been in love,” Vee admitted. “To enjoy love, you need to let your guard down and completely trust someone. That’s why I haven’t been able to fully experience it. I’ve loved someone, but I don’t think I’ve ever been blindly in love.”

During the conversation, Vee discussed her approach to relationships, explaining that while she can sometimes overlook red flags in a partner, lying is a boundary she won’t cross.

“I notice red flags and might choose to ignore them, but I’m always aware of what they are. Everyone has their flaws, but dishonesty is what makes me step back and keep my guard up,” she said.

Vee also shared a personal experience that highlighted her views on trust and loyalty. She recounted an incident where a woman messaged her with allegations about her partner’s faithfulness, claiming they had exchanged inappropriate photos.

“A random account reached out to me with screenshots, saying they had been sending naked pictures to my partner. She said she wanted to test our relationship,” Vee explained.

When she confronted her partner about the situation, he responded by saying that people were sharing his account and that the details weren’t straightforward.

Vee reflected, “I just knew that lies were being told. You can always sense when someone is not being truthful.”

Through her revelations, Vee emphasized the importance of trust in love and how past experiences have shaped her views on relationships.
