On September 22, 2024, Odumodublvck headlined his first concert of the tour, sharing a clip of the sold-out show on social media. He captioned it, “If they don’t hype you, hype yourself,” highlighting his growing status as Nigeria’s leading hip-hop artist.

His post came just two days after Davido made a similar statement on his X account. Davido’s message followed fans calling out Nigerian media for not reporting that his hit song “Unavailable,” featuring Musa Keys, had received an RIAA Gold plaque.

Davido wanted to make it clear that he would celebrate his wins despite what he perceives as media neglect.

Additionally, his 2023 album, ‘Eziokwu,’ has spent 50 weeks in the top 10 of the Spotify Nigeria Album Chart, making it the only rap album to achieve this milestone.

‘Eziokwu’ now joins the ranks of other notable albums, such as Omah Lay’s ‘Boy Alone,’ Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini,’ Asake’s ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe,’ ‘Work of Art,’ and Davido’s ‘Timeless,’ all of which have also remained on the chart for over 50 weeks.
