October 10: The Return of ‘The Smart Money Woman’ Season 2

The financial literacy comedy-drama ‘The Smart Money Woman’ is set to return for its second season, debuting on October 10, 2024.

This follows its initial release on Netflix on September 16, 2021, where it was available as a seven-episode season. The series originally aired on Africa Magic with 13 episodes.

Azuwa Studios, known for its commitment to authentic African storytelling, announced the upcoming season with a teaser trailer released on September 16, 2024. The series, created by bestselling author and executive producer Arese Ugwu, revolves around a group of stylish and ambitious friends in Lagos, Nigeria. Directed by Wande Thomas and Bunmi Ajakaiye, it features a talented Nollywood cast including Osas Ighodaro, Toni Tones, Ini Dima-Okojie, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Timini Egbuson, and many more.
