Kunle Afolayan and Crew Arrive in Ghana for Anikulapo Season 2

Director Kunle Afolayan and his team have arrived in Accra, Ghana, to begin filming the second season of the Netflix series ‘Anikulapo’. The crew landed on Sunday, kicking off the next phase of production.
Veteran filmmaker Tunde Kelani announced their arrival on Instagram and Facebook, noting they landed at Kotoka International Airport.
Kunle Afolayan and his team finished filming the Nigerian scenes at KAP Film Village in Igbojaye on September 11, marking a major milestone for the series.
Season 2 will feature fan favourites from the first season, including Sola Sobowale, Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Aisha Lawal, Bimbo Ademoye, Moji Afolayan, Eyiyemi Afolayan, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Owobo Ogunde, Lateef Adedimeji, and Oyindamola Sanni. Their return promises to bring continuity and depth to the storyline.
New faces joining the series this season are Saidi Balogun, Saga Adeolu, and Antar Laniyan, bringing fresh talent to the show.
Kunle Afolayan Productions has partnered with Ghana’s National Film Authority. This collaboration will feature several Ghanaian actors in ‘Anikulapo Season 2, adding a cultural blend to the show.
Fans can expect a season with new twists, standout performances, and a mix of Nigerian and Ghanaian influences.
