Tragic Loss for Patoranking: Sister and Brother-in-Law Pass Away

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Patoranking is mourning the devastating loss of his younger sister, Chioma, and her husband, George. The couple died after a gas explosion at their home, according to reports.

The tragedy occurred just days after Patoranking celebrated his daughter’s sixth birthday. Instagram blogger Cutie Juls shared the sad news, revealing that the explosion happened shortly after a housewarming party and a birthday celebration.

Chioma reportedly passed away instantly from the blast, while George, who initially survived the explosion, sadly died on September 11, 2024.

Cutie Juls noted that Patoranking made every effort to save his brother-in-law, including arranging for large amounts of blood, in hopes of preventing his nephew from becoming an orphan.
