Spyro explained, “SEX felt good until I couldn’t bear the struggle with my conscience anymore.” Despite his previous enjoyment, each time he engaged in sex outside of marriage, it left him feeling uneasy and conflicted.

Spyro expressed his discomfort and guilt in his post, saying, “Every time I ‘forget’ that I’m not married to the person, I feel troubled, as if a part of me is taken away right after.”

He admitted that he battled with these feelings for some time but found strength through prayer. Eventually, he cut off all lingering relationships that did not align with his values.

The singer acknowledged that his journey towards celibacy has been challenging, especially while travelling and facing temptations from admirers and promoters.

Nonetheless, he is committed to remaining faithful and saving himself for his future wife. “It hasn’t been easy,” Spyro wrote. “These clean girls get funny around me, and promoters don’t make it easy either. But now they know, and I’m keeping this bed for ONE now.”

It might be tough, but I’m not going back.” Spyro ended his post by asking anyone who sees him faltering to report him to his pastor or family. His message shows his genuine effort to stick to his values and remain abstinent despite the challenges.
