Toyosi hopes that the growing competition in Nollywood will lead to better pay for talented individuals in the industry.

Toyosi’s collaboration with Essence, a platform promoting global Black stories, highlights her commitment to raising Nollywood’s profile internationally.

She believes that Nigeria alone cannot contain Nollywood’s global reach. “I partnered with Essence for three years to get Nollywood recognized worldwide.

Nigeria is too small to hold Nollywood’s potential. We need more marketing. With Nile and their impressive team, I’m confident they can package Nollywood for global recognition and rewards,” she concluded.
