Nollywood star Yul Edochie is setting the record straight about his public image, claiming he’s not as controversial as many believe.
In a recent interview on his YouTube channel, Yul Edochie TV, the actor expressed his confusion over why people are so concerned about his life.
During the interview, Edochie addressed the negative perceptions about him, asserting that most of what’s been written is untrue.
“A lot of people have written all sorts of things about me; you know me so 99.9% of what they have written is false. But what can you do? I just ignore it,” he said.
Edochie described himself as a simple, down-to-earth individual, which contrasts sharply with his controversial public image.
“Yul Edochie is a very simple guy. I’m very down to earth. I love God, I love humanity, and I’m also an introvert. I hardly go out; I mostly stay in,” he explained.
Refuting claims of being controversial, Edochie emphasized that he does not seek conflict. “I’m not controversial. Believe me, I’m not.
People think I am, but I’m not. I don’t look for trouble or call people out. I don’t fight anyone. People seem to have a problem with me for some reason. Why are they so worried about my life?” he asked.
Edochie’s remarks aim to clear the air and provide a clearer picture of who he truly is, countering the often misunderstood aspects of his public personal.
