Ivy Zenny, wife of Nigerian music star Paul Okoye from the P-Square duo, recently voiced her frustration with social media trolls. She took to Instagram to criticize people who post hateful comments for fun or attention.

On August 18, 2024, Ivy Zenny shared her thoughts on Instagram, calling out the growing trend of internet trolling. She made it clear that her post wasn’t just about her own experiences but also about the broader issue of trolling.

Ivy Zenny wrote, “I’ve seen a lot of trolls and honestly, I’m not fazed. This isn’t really about me. But some people get a little attention and then act like it’s no big deal, saying, ‘It’s just a joke, I just wanted attention. Love you, help me or my family.” She criticized those who use trolling to get attention or financial help from celebrities. Zenny made it clear that she won’t be giving money to trolls, unlike Nigerian singer Chike.

“I wish you could understand how embarrassing it is to post hate comments for fun, recognition, or money,” she said. “Not everyone will respond like Chike. They’re playing games for 1 million naira, but won’t get a single kobo from me. Save yourself the embarrassment—trolling makes you look foolish.”

Her post received support from other Instagram users. Many agreed with her views on trolling and praised her for speaking out.

One user commented, “She’s right! Many trolls have never had a decent meal but try to get attention by bothering people who are doing well. Let them keep trying—they won’t get anything from it. Ivy Zenny is spot on!”

Ivy Zenny’s bold stance against social media trolling highlights her frustration with online negativity. Her message resonates with many, showing that there’s a growing demand for respect and decency on social media.
