Nigerian music sensation Asake just dropped his highly anticipated third album, *Lungu Boy*. The album features an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Wizkid, Central Cee, Travis Scott, Stormzy, and Ludmilla. Following the release, Asake took to Instagram Live to engage with his fans and address some burning questions.

During the live session, fans were curious about Asake’s choice to sing predominantly in Yoruba. Asake responded by explaining that while he is capable of singing in English, he feels more natural and comfortable performing in Yoruba. “I can sing in English, but Yoruba is where I feel at home,” he said. “So if you’re rocking with me, let’s do it in Yoruba.”

In another revelation, Asake shared his surprise at Wizkid featuring on the track MMS from Lungu Boy. He was not expecting Wizkid to join the song. According to Asake, producer P.Priime played the song for Wizkid, who enjoyed it so much that he decided to contribute his verse.

The collaboration with Wizkid has already made waves, setting a new record for the highest opening day streams for a song on Spotify Nigeria. Additionally, the album *Lungu Boy* itself achieved a record-breaking number of opening-day streams.

Asake’s Lungu Boy release comes just in time for his upcoming world tour. The tour will include performances at famous venues like the O2 Arena and Madison Square Garden.
