Popular Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known as Portable, is a singer and songwriter who recently criticized Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun in a video.

He highlighted the poor condition of roads in his area using Instagram Stories on his official profile. Portable shared a video where he nearly faced a life-threatening situation while driving his new Range Rover on a rugged road in Sango-Ota.

This revelation came right after Portable, known for hits like “Zazoo Zeh,” returned to Nigeria following his tour in the United States of America.

In the video, Portable called out Governor Dapo Abiodun for neglecting to fix the deteriorating roads not only in Sango-Ota but across Ogun State.

He pointed out that despite many residents owning vehicles, they struggle to use them due to the state of the roads. He contrasted this with his recent experience in the United States, where all roads are well-maintained.

Portable urged Governor Dapo Abiodun to prioritize road repairs in the state and suggested that if unable to do so, he should step down and allow his preferred successor, Senator Yayi, to address the issue.

The artist also posted a video showing local youths helping him push his damaged Range Rover along the rough road in Sango-Ota, expressing frustration at the situation.

In his words, “Nigerians, please come and help me. I just returned to Nigeria from America and within 2 seconds, the bad roads in Ogun State almost caused a fatal accident for me.”
