“Oloture: The Journey,” from Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife Studios’ 2019 film, amassed 1.7 million views and 3.2 million watch hours from July 1 to 7, 2024. Abudu announced this on Instagram on July 10, 2024.

The series quickly entered Netflix’s top 10 global charts, debuting at number 6 with 1,700,000 views and 3,200,000 hours watched.

Directed by Kenneth Gyang, the thriller follows an undercover journalist exposing a sex trafficking ring. Sharon Ooja Nwoke stars as Oloture, premiering on Netflix on June 28, 2024.
