Kate Henshaw Clarifies Comments About Davido in Recent Interview

Kate Henshaw, also known as Kate Henshaw-Nuttall (born 19 July 1971), is a distinguished Nigerian actress with a rich career spanning decades. Recently, the veteran actress found herself clarifying remarks she made about Davido, a popular Nigerian singer, during a candid interview. Addressing the incident where Davido allegedly did not greet her at a past event, Kate Henshaw expressed her surprise at the notion that she had “reported” the singer.
During an appearance on Isbae U’s show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, Kate responded to a question about why she had supposedly “reported” Davido for not greeting her. She firmly clarified her stance, stating “I was asked a question, and I answered it. I didn’t report anybody; I responded to the question. What is ‘report?’ What does report mean?”
Highlighting the context of her remarks, Kate emphasized that she was simply recounting her experience and interaction with Davido when asked about it. She further added, “They asked about the person, and I was speaking about the knowledge and interaction that I had. I didn’t report, and we even had a conversation after that, so it’s none of your business. That’s what you people do; you look for strife.”
In a surprising turn during the interview, Isbae U orchestrated a reconciliation of sorts by bringing in a Davido lookalike to apologize to Kate Henshaw on behalf of the singer.
This incident follows Kate Henshaw’s previous comments about Davido during an interview with Chude Jideonwo in December 2023, where she candidly expressed her views. She recalled an encounter with Davido where he did not acknowledge her presence, leading her to reflect on the importance of respect and personal interactions.
