“Why are people this evil” – Sanni Alesh slams Nollywood actors for dumping Bobrisky

Recall that the well-known Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, widely recognized as Bobrisky, faced legal troubles when the EFCC arrested and subsequently imprisoned him for involvement in currency manipulation-related crimes.

In a fiery rebuke against the apparent indifference of his colleagues, Sanni Alesh forcefully condemned their silence during Bobrisky’s tumultuous times. He underscored the irony of the situation, pointing out that despite privately disapproving of Bobrisky’s lifestyle choices, many celebrities in Nigeria eagerly sought his presence at their events.

Sanni Alesh did not mince words as he criticized his peers for their hypocrisy and their failure to stand by Bobrisky when he most needed their support. He labeled their silence as both hypocritical and morally reprehensible, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in times of adversity.

“Prison is not where someone should stay for even a day. I don’t know why hand are hypocritical, so we call Bobrisky for parties, to promote movies, songs grace our events, and even boost our business with his platform because of the lifestyle he has chosen and all, which we didn’t see as a problem or big deal… Now for what so ever reason he’s been arrested and jailed yet we all pretend as if he has never been a part of our lives, why are people this evil? Especially celebrities.. remember this can happen to anyone.

My prayers are with you Idris Okuneye.”
