OLAMIDE FLEW FROM LONDON TO HELP ME AND I CRIED – PORTABLE

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Popularly known as Portable has shed light once again on the role Olamide fostered in aiding his breakthrough in the music industry.

The singer who has constantly praised Baddo for his unwavering support and acts of kindness stated why he cried when Olamide helped him.

He said he has not experienced such a form of gestures from any music heavyweight and as a result could not hold back his emotions.

This was shared in a recent interview with media personality, Adesope.

Speaking in pidgin language, he said “Dem know why Dem no wan sing with me. If Dem sing with me, I go blow more than them… See Olamide, baba come from London come help me that time wey I dey Nigeria. You know why I dey cry? No be say I never see anybody. You know why I dey cry? Based on say nobody don help me like that.

Dem no wan pick me… Pick me, drop verse o, na him be say u help me. Put am for platform, may we dey share money…”

Olamide’s input in his career cannot be overemphasized.

Sometime back, the singer had disclosed how Olamide paid for the music video of his hit song, Zazzu and shouldered responsibilities to aid his growth in the industry by linking him up with other heavy weights for collaborations.
