Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s daughter, Danielle, has yanked off her father’s name from her profile on social media. Danielle, who proudly used her father’s name, Danielle Yul Edochie, on her social media profiles has now edited her name to be Danielle Diana Dubem.
A swift examination of Danielle’s Instagram page revealed the modification in her name. The alteration prompted an outpouring of praise and support from many quarters, lauding the teenager for her bold decision.
Sandypreneur wrote, “If na you nko? Do you know what it means to watch your parent embarrass you daily? Smh.”
Mr Azeez applauded her saying, “SHE JUST TOOK A BOLD STEP TO DISOWN HER DAD! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”
Phelle wrote, “Men do not know the damages this things do to their kids mostly on their daughters. This same act of yul my dad did. Till today I. Ve trust issues with men . It’s externally damaging to daughter . Tomorrow them go come beg and expect you to forgive and forget the past that they hurt . Mine even asked me what abomination did I commit ? ?. Like this man is a joke . You threw away your family for decades over a strange woman. Then turn around when you think you can benefit from us to be asking me what abomination did u commit? Haaaa ! Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s daughter, Danielle, recently removed her father’s name from her social media profile.
Following the public drama between her parents, Danielle opted to remove her father’s name from her profile, whereas her mother, May Yul Edochie, retained it on her own social media accounts.
In a public spat on social media, Yul Edochie addressed May’s New Year post, in which she described the past year as challenging and shared personal experiences, including mourning their deceased son, Kambilichukwu.
Yul accused May of misleading the public about her emotional state, alleging that she carried out her activities with the support of her married boyfriend.
In contrast, May’s New Year speech highlighted the series of unfortunate events she faced in 2023, portraying it as a year filled with sorrow.
This contrasted sharply with Yul’s perspective, who viewed the past year as his best, marked by accomplishments and divine favor.
