Angel lists all she did for Cross he didn’t reciprocate

During the Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye Reunion, one of the top female Housemates, Angel, whose relationship saga with colleague, Cross was being treated, claimed that she did more things for Cross than he reciprocated.

Angel made it clear that Cross never reciprocated the energy and good vibes she gave to him, citing the fact that Cross was far from what she thought would have become of him in their relationship.

However, Angel pointed out that even though they both didn’t see themselves going deeper in the relationship, they assumed their friendship might on the long-run lead to something extraordinary.

Angel said, “When we were in Dubai, Cross barely invited me out. He never invited me out, like come let’s chill here. No. But immediately Cross needed something. When he needed money, it was me he came to. He came to me like, I need money for this, I ran out of money.

“If Cross tells me he’s restless… The last time he told me he’s restless I put a spa for him. It’s not like I’m in love with you, but that how much I appreciate you as friend. And that’s how much I care about you. Cross has never done any of that for me”.

On making the list of things she had done for Cross, which Cross didn’t reciprocate, Angel said, “List the things you’ve done for me Cross. Let me list mine. Three times you were sick, I cooked for you. I drove, I live all the way in Chevron. I drove to you, on this, three times.

“You needed money in Dubai, I gave you money in Dubai Cross. That was the first time you spoke to me, to be like, okay, never were you, when we were in Dubai, like, Angel let me help you, or do you want to hang out rather. It was never that”.

Interrupting Angel, Cross asked, “So, Angel let me understand, so basically, we were in Dubai”, Angel said, Cross list the things you’ve done for me”. Cross comes back, “Okay listen, I’m listing, what’s listing, I’m not here to shout”, Angel continued, “Because I can remember clearly all the ways I’ve felt for you”.

Cross said, “When we were in Dubai, I got things for you. I was going back to the airport, I ran out of cash, and you gave me money to go back to the airport. That was all”. Angel added, “You said your money finished”. Cross responded, “Yes my money finished, and if that’s the case, I can give you back the money”.

Angel told Cross, “It’s not the matter of the money, it’s a matter of what have I done for you and what have you done for me to reciprocate the energy. Why are you emphasizing on the money. It’s the ways you’ve needed me and I’ve appeared, that’s what it is”.

Cross said, “I can’t start listing all these, because this is a little things like, I can’t be playing this kind of thing, because you know how much I felt about you. So, I should start listing all the things that I’ve been doing for you”.

Angel continued, “I know my love language. When I have a friend, I know the way I serve them”. Ebuka asked, “Are you saying he has never done anything for you”? Angel answered, “He barely does anything”, Ebuka continued, “Because what I’m getting from you is that he has never done anything”.

Angel said, “He has barely. What has Cross done for me? That’s why I’m saying, it’s not a competition, but like, I want to hear what he has done for me, that he thinks matches up the energy that I gave him, because it’s more than that. I was there when he was sick, I was there when you were traveling. I’m always there”. Cross interrupted, “And as much as that, I was there for you too”. Angel replied, “You weren’t there for me, but if you insist, then, closed”.

Cross added, “I was there every single time. Whenever your family…, Everytime I was there for you”. Angel repeated, “Then closed. That’s the only conversation that I want to have with you”.
