Following rumours making the round that there is a marital crisis yet again between Nollywood actress Annie Idibia, and her musician husband 2baba, Annie has since come out with a post to shut down such rumours.
It all started when she posted a cryptic message via her Instagram story over the weekend, and people noticed afterwards that she was no longer following her husband, 2baba on the social networking platform Instagram.
In the cryptic post, she wrote, “Family is who takes care of you, it doesn’t matter if they are blood-related or not, know this and find peace!!!”
She continued, “Family can lowkey be throwing stones at you and still pretend that they are standing up for you. They can be deceptive and also pretend to be protecting you! Don’t lose guard. Some families, they will judge and condemn you.”
Reacting to that post, and the talk of her no longer following 2baba on Instagram, Annie Idibia took to her Instagram story writing, “Jesuuuuuu oooooooo, na so una like bad news tire!!! Na wa o!!! Simple Instagram glitch una don create story!!! Nigerian bloggers I hail. Make una nor dey make innocent lovers of both A guy and I mind jump ooooo!!! #UnWashTheBrainWashed Biko oooo”
Annie Idibia’s management also issued a statement in regards to the rumoured marriage crisis, where it was stated that Annie and 2baba remain committed to their marriage and the care of their children.
Just so you know, there are also reports making rounds stating that Annie’s action has to do with 2baba’s recent visit to one of his baby mamas, Pero Adeniyi and their three children in the United States of America.
If you would recall, Annie Idibia’s age-long rift with Pero even caused a lot of controversy in her marriage to 2baba in 2021.
In September, the actress called out the singer over his suspicious relationship with Pero Adeniyi. She also accused his family of not loving and caring about her since their marriage, as all they have done for the past ten years is to frustrate their matrimonial home.
