The latest James Bond instalment, ‘No Time to Die’, has reportedly earned three hundred and sixty-eight million dollars internationally and four hundred and seventy-four million dollars with the domestic box office counted, making it the second-highest-grossing film of 2021 worldwide behind the fast and furious latest instalment F9.
According to reports, the movie has already become the highest-grossing 007 film of all time in Hong Kong, Ukraine, Argentina, Paraguay and Egypt, and the numbers will continue to roll in as it is set to be released in China and Australia on October 29 and November 11, respectively.
Just so you know, after ‘No Time to Die’ was pushed back for a fourth time in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the production studio MGM reportedly explored moving the highly-anticipated film to a streaming service.
The studio however proposed a one-year lease worth six hundred million dollars to Amazon, Apple, and Netflix, but none of them agreed to meet them halfway to their asking price.
While MGM failed to find a suitor for their benchmark film, the studio was later acquired by Amazon.
