Coronavirus: Co-Host of YourView on TVC, Temitope advises the general public on the importance of educating domestic staffs during this pandemic

Temitope Mark-Odigie one of the hosts of the popular TV show, Your View on TVC took to her social media page this morning to share her experience with her domestic staff after enlightening her about the pandemic. Temitope revealed that it is important for these people to know what is really going on because kids and other family members are very exposed to them. She, however, revealed that her domestic staff only described the covid19 as a Rapture and has no idea how to prevent or even handle it.

Had a meeting with my children’s nanny this morning and the following conversation ensued.

Me: Are you aware of a new disease called Coronavirus? 
Nanny: yes

Me: What do you know about Coronavirus?

Nanny: They said that it’s RAPTURE. 
I almost fainted. 
Me: So how are you handling it?

Nanny: Nothing. 
Me: So you are waiting for the RAPTURE right?

Silence… Me: Have you discussed the issue with your husband and your children? 
Nanny: NO

So I decided to lecture her on the dangers of Coronavirus and the precautions to take in preventing the disease both for her family and Us. 
Meanwhile, she has a smartphone and uses WhatsApp a lot of times. 
So with all the chatting and groups she belongs to on WhatsApp, all She knew about Coronavirus was RAPTURE. 
So I appeal to everyone of us with Domestic Staff to take time out to Educate them and follow up on their activities.
