Mikel Obi had taken to his social media page to make the below post, stating that he doesn’t feel comfortable and doesn’t want to play football under the current coronavirus outbreak.

“There is more to life than football. I do not feel comfortable and don’t want to play football in this situation. Everyone should be home with their families and loved ones in this critical time. Season should be cancelled as the world is facing such turbulent times.”

You may recall that all English Premier League matches have been postponed because of the covid19 outbreak and other sport organizations around the world have done the same including Nigeria.
