ZLATAN IBILE REGAINS FREEDOM, NAIRA MARLEY STILL IN EFCC CUSTODY

Written by on May 15, 2019

After five intense days of grilling in detention, Nigerian musician Zlatan Ibile has been temporarily released from Economic and Financial Crimes Comission custody.

Reports say he and the two others who were set free are to report to EFCC office everyday for further questioning.

He was released alongside two others who were all arrested on Friday in connection to advance fee fraud popularly called ‘Yahoo Yahoo’.

Reports says the EFCC is holding on to Naira Marley because of some hard evidence found in his laptop.

Another source within the EFCC said Naira Marley might be charged to court in the light of evidence recovered.

Meanwhile, many people credited Davido for making moves towards Zlatan’s release. However, a close Ally to the singer, Aremo Gucci has debunked the rumor. According to Aremo, it was Olamide and Burna Boy that made moves towards Zlatan’s release.
