Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo stuns in Super Eagles 3-2 victory over Libya on Tuesday night, October 16th.
Ighalo who has continually faced criticism since his poor performance at the Russsia 2018 World Cup, stole the limelight – scoring three goals for the Super Eagles in Uyo last Saturday and two goals in the second leg match played in Libya.
Ighalo’s brace saved the Super Eagles in what would have ended up as a draw match.
Ighalo scored his first goal of the night in the 14th minute before assisting a second goal scored by Ahmed Musa.
The Libyans came in strong at the 35th minute before equalising in the second half.
The Eagles were pressured bot a second goal in the 81st minute ensured victory for the eagles who now lead Group E of the Africa Nations Cup qualifier with nine points.
