“Dbanj To Report Circumstances That Led To Son’s Death” – Lagos Police

Following the tragic news of the death of Dbanj’s son, Daniel III, the Lagos State Police Command have sent their condolence to the singer and have also requested that the family of the singer report the circumstances that led to Daniel’s death when the mourning period is over.
The Lagos Police PRO disclosed that a condolence visit was paid to the singer’s house in Ikoyi but upon arrival, they was no one at home
A statement was published on the official Instagram handle of the Lagos State Police Command on Monday, June 25, 2018and it was signed by the Police Public Relations Officer Lagos State Police Command, Chime Oti.
The statement reads:
“PRESS RELEASE:
THE SUDDEN DEATH OF LITTLE DANIELThe Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, on behalf of officers and men of Lagos State Police Command, wishes to commiserate with the family of Mr and Mrs Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo a.k.a D’BANJ @iambangalee on the death of their one year old son, Daniel(Jnr) Oyebanjo whose sad event took place yesterday 24/06/2018, at the Ikoyi-Lagos residence of the family.

Although a delegation from the Command, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Ikoyi Division, CSP Mustapha N’Abba, who were at the Ikoyi home of the Oyebanjos on a condolence visit did not meet anyone at home, it is expected that when the mourning period is over, the family will formally report the circumstances that led to the unfortunate death of little Daniel to the police. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Dbanj had lost his only son, Daniel Oyebanjo, who turned one year in May, in a swimming pool inside the singer’s Lagos home on Sunday, June 24. Fans and colleagues of the singer have also been commiserating with him. Dbanj and his Management are yet to release any official statement.
