Mohamed Salah has seen his remarkable debut campaign at Liverpool recognized with another award, with the 43-goal star named Premier League Player of the season.
The Egypt international forward has been a revelation at Anfield, with his stunning efforts seeing him showered with praise and pretigious personal prizes.
Salah has already claimed a PFA Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year double, while also scooping Liverpool’s Player of the Year gong.
He has now added to his enviable collection of honours by being recognised as the finest performer in the English top-flight throughout the 2017-18 campaign.
Salah also bagged the Premier League Golden Boot award finishing ahead of Tottenham and English forward, Harry Kane as bothplayers reached 30 goals, with Sergio Aguero and Jamie Vardy the only other two players to net 20 times.
Kane was the clear winner of last season’s crown, bagging 29 goals in 30 appearances for Tottenham, while Romelu Lukaku followed with 25 in 37 games for Everton.
Mo’Salah’s tally of 32 goals is also the English record for the most goals in a 38-game season, breaking Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez’s tally.
It is worthy of note that Mohamed Salah played a major role in Liverpool’s qualification to the Uefa Champions League Final.
