Rihanna Mourns Cousin who died a day after spending Christmas together
American Pop star, Rihanna is mourning the death of her cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21, who was shot to death in Barbados on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 after spending christmas with him the day before.
Rihanna took to Instagram to share some photos of them together and captioned it;
“RIP cousin… can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man! ???❤ #endgunviolence.”
According to the Nation News, Alleyne was walking through a track in the St Michael’s area of Barbados around 7pm Tuesday night when he was approached by a man and shot several times,
The man then fled the scene, and has not been identified.
The 21-year-old was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle but eventually didn’t make it due to the injuries he sustained from the gunshot.
